The mission of Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care is to bring expert care, peace of mind, comfort, guidance, and hope to people who are affected by life-limiting illness or by grief. And, our vision is each person in our community is valued from life through death and each family is supported in their grief. Kansas City Hospice & Palliative care is a a 501(c)(3) organization not-for-profit organization.

Emergency Preparedness Coordinator
Kelli is a native of Kansas and has lived in the KC metro area all of her life. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas.
She has been with Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care since 2006. She started as a social worker in the field and currently Kelli is in the role of Staff Development Specialist and Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, which includes being the Chair of their organization’s Safety and Security Committee. Kelli received the outstanding associate award in 2013.
Kelli is the Emergency Preparedness Chair and President-elect for the Kansas City Regional Home Care Association. The KCRHCA was established in 1977 as a voluntary, private organization incorporated in the state of Missouri, whose primary focus or mission is that of serving the general welfare of the citizens of the Greater Kansas City Region.
She received the KCRHCA 2018 Richard Sanders Extra Mile Award. "In the spirit and example of Richard Sanders, Kelli Traylor took her role as the new Emergency Preparedness Committee Chair position by Storm! She is always 'prepared.'”
