Bio
A native of Rose Hill KS, Kendall earned his BSED at Pittsburg State from 87-91. He was a member of the Gorillas football squad and a captain his final two years. He was drafted by the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers in 92 and spent 15 years in the NFL.(Steelers 92-95, Saints 96-99, Chiefs 2000-06) After retiring from the NFL in 2006, he became a member of the Chiefs Radio Network for 12 years as well as taking a position with his alma mater, Pitt State Gorillas as the Special Assistant to the President. Additionally, Kendall has authored 2 books and speaks all around the country on Emotional Communication, Power of Gratitude and other topics. Kendall is the proud dad of two boys; Blaise(26) and Drake(23). Kendall played in Super Bowl XXX, the 2005 Pro Bowl and also was the radio color commentator for the Chiefs Super Bowl win in 2019. Kendall currently host a 3 hour Chiefs pregame show on 101 the Fox. |

ASPR OHCR Updates Bio
Angela Krutsinger has been working in healthcare and public health for over 30 years, 26 of those years spent in preparedness and response. Started as a public health specialist in the United States Air Force in 1993 then continued to serve in various forms of from civilian and military, to private & public, responding to disaster and public health events, while collecting three associates, one bachelor and two master degrees (in Public Administration and Human Services). After 9/11 created the first statewide bio-terrorism surveillance system in the country to implement ESSENCE in Missouri. From 2007 - 2014, was Director of the Hospital Preparedness for the Nevada Hospital Association. And since 2014, has been the ASPR Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) Field Project Officer (FPO) for Region 7, providing technical assistance, guidance, monitoring and support for the Hospital Preparedness cooperative agreements (and also other states as needed). For the last 3 years, Angela has supported COVID response while continuing her R7 position and also been the acting supervisor/team lead for Regions 1, 3, 4, 7 & 8 and FPO for CO & WY and 2 years ago added MA & CT. |

Awareness for Response to Marijuana Grow Operations Bio
Kary D. Cox is the Director for the Department of Emergency Management for the City of Bartlesville/Washington County Oklahoma. He has served in this position for the past 27 years. He is also the Fire Chief for the Washington County Fire Department. Previously, he held the position of EM Director and County Fire Chief for 8 years in Beaver County Oklahoma. Kary has worked in public safety since 1976 when he became an Emergency Medical Technician in NW Oklahoma. He has served in Law Enforcement, Fire Service, EMS, and Emergency Management. He is the lead ICS instructor for Oklahoma Homeland Security and instructs numerous FEMA, Fire Service, and CLEET courses as well. He has worked on the incident management team with Oklahoma Forestry Service on 4 of the largest wildfires in Oklahoma history and involved in the response to several large scale disasters including the I-40 Bridge Collapse in Webbers Falls, Joplin Tornado, Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Ida and the Murrah Building Bombing in OKC. Kary is a founding member of the Oklahoma Disaster Task Force and has been active in the Oklahoma Emergency Management Association as Treasurer, Vice-President, and President. He was chosen as Director of the Year in 1998 and received the OEMA President’s Award in 1999. Kary has been married to his wife Paula for 46 years and they have 2 sons who are both married and one granddaughter, Hailey. |

Mark Heath: Chief Heath is currently serving as Assistant Chief in the EMS division. He began his firefighting career in 1990 outside of Topeka and has been with Kansas City Kansas Fire since 1997. He is a Paramedic and has worked in many roles within the organization, including Hazardous materials response, as an EMS supervisor, and in the investigations division. Andy Marshall: Andy Marshall is the Emergency Preparedness Manager at The University of Kansas Health System. In his current role he has over site of emergency management activities for the KC Division of the health system. Andy is also a Registered Nurse with over 10 years of bedside emergency medicine and trauma experience in academic medical centers. |

Cyber Insecurity in Healthcare And Beyond Bio
Dallas Haselhorst is an information security engineer, researcher, and entrepreneur. He has consulted on cybersecurity for numerous industries all over the world. Much of his career was spent starting and growing a managed service provider until its acquisition in 2016. He then founded TreeTop Security with the primary focus of improving the cybersecurity posture of small businesses. The free cybersecurity awareness presentation from TreeTop Security have become some of the most widely used training resources for businesses of all sizes. Dallas has multiple computer degrees from FHSU as well as a master's degree in information security engineering from the SANS Technology Institute. Dallas holds numerous information security certifications including the GSE (GIAC Security Expert) certification, which is often considered the most difficult credential to obtain in the IT security industry. Dallas is a co-organizer of the annual BSidesKC cybersecurity conference in Kansas City and is also the founder of STEM Harvest, a non-profit technology-centric education space for kids located in Hays, KS. When not working, Dallas enjoys learning, sharing what he has learned, promoting STEM education, spending time with his family, and molding his four daughters into card-carrying nerds. |

Leadership is an Attitude not a Rank Bio
Christopher Way has been an emergency service professional for 31 years. Chief Way transitioned to Kootenai County Fire and Rescue as the Fire Chief in May of 2020 after serving as the Chief Officer for the Kootenai County EMS System for the previous seven years. Chief Way came to Idaho from Kansas where he served in Fire and EMS roles in urban, sub-urban and rural settings. He was an EMT-Basic, EMT-Intermediate and now has been a licensed paramedic since 1994 as well as a certified Firefighter. Throughout his career he has held different ranks culminating most recently in his promotion to Fire Chief. He also has significant experience in disaster management at the local, state and national level. In addition to his full-time role as Fire Chief he is involved at the local, regional, state and national level in advocacy and leadership for emergency services. He is a regular speaker at national conferences and in his spare time Chief Way and two partners own an Emergency Medicine education and consulting company. Passionate about emergency medical care, Governor Brad Little selected Chief Way to be the Chairman of the Idaho Time Sensitive Emergency Council in May of 2019. He has a bachelor’s degree in Management and Human Relations and maintains all of his Fire and EMS licenses/certifications. He regularly donates time to his community, serves local non-profit organizations and is involved in his children’s many activities. Chris and his wife Jennifer live in Hayden, Idaho with their two daughters. |
