Jewell County has a strong contingency of Healthcare Coalition members that have been very faithful in attending, supporting and contributing to the NCK HCC. 
  • Jewell County Hospital is just completing new renovations to their existing building. Lori Slate has served our Healthcare Coalition as Chair and now Member at Large. Lori, as many others, wears multiple hats and serves her community well. Lori is quite adept with PortaCount machines as well as e-HICS on EM Resources. We’ve appreciated the many times she has helped other members with these resources. https://www.jewellcohospital.org/ - New hospital picture.
  • Nancy Marihugh is the Jewell County Health Department Administrator. She has been kept very busy over most of the last year with COVID response and yet has participated in almost all of our membership meetings. 
  • Jewell County’s Emergency Manager is new on the job and had to get up to speed fast with the onset of COVID last year. Kevin Peroutek too has taken time out to attend our NCK Membership Meetings and has been very responsive to the needs of his community.
